The Kankakee Iroquois Ag Region is comprised of eight primarily rural counties in northwestern Indiana. The core group of counties contracted with two consultants to guide the implementation of the Regional Ag Strategy for the first three years.

The consultants assist the local organizations in the eight counties in gathering information from agribusinesses, identifying potential sites for agribusiness parks, leading educational workshops, assisting entrepreneurs in developing and expanding their businesses, promoting the region for development, and sharing the regional agribusiness success stories.
